Would a Nikon D3200 fit a Sigma lens?

Would a Sigma zoom 28-200mm f/3.8-5.6 from the Nikon AF 801 fit into a Nikon D3200?

It will fit but it won't autofocus because it most likely doesn't have an internal autofocus motor, and neither does the D3200. For autofocusing the D3200 needs lenses that have their own AF motor, such as Nikon's AF-S lenses (unlike AF lenses)

Note that the image quality will be poor though. Superzoom lenses like that are always a compromise on image quality, and the 24MP of the D3200 will highlight all the deficiencies of that lens without mercy.
