Windows Movie Maker and Nikon D3100?

I have a Nikon D3100 and am trying to make a video on Windows Movie Maker. How can I create this in a way that I can use my videos? Right now they aren't compatible.

You can change another video maker, I use Photo DVD Burner to make photo slideshow and video. It is very easy to use,
I think it may help, just have a try.

Nikon D 3100 can only save as H.264/MPEG-4 HD video format, but windows movie maker only supports MPEG1、.mpeg、.mpg、.m1v、.mp2. That's the reason why they are compatible. You need a video converter or just make a movie by another movie maker like dvd slideshow in http://dvdslideshow.net, free trial version supported, which can support MTS/M2TS/TP/TRP/TS/M2T(H.264, VC-1, MPEG-2, XviD), MOV/MKV/AVI/MPG (H.264, VC-1, MPEG2, XviD), in which H.264 is the one you need.
