Will a Vivitar flash work with my Nikon?

emmyy
I'm looking at a Vivitar 2400m universal hot-shoe flash with 3-8 trigger voltage. I have a Nikon D3000, and I'm not sure if it will be okay to use with it. Any help is appreciated!

The trigger voltage is safe for your D3000, whether that flash unit will work in the TTL mode, is another question

Yes. That will mean using the Vivitar in Auto or Manual mode and the D3000 in Manual mode.
