Tbh, not worth buying, get d5100 best dslr for most people whether video or photo, the 8 point autofocus is amazing to even on video the autofocus captures everything, but try looking for yourself, I suggest the digitalrev YouTube channel, its the biggest camera store and camera

The D3200 is basically just like any dSLR out there. Since it's a bottom of the barrel model, don't expect much from it but if you know exactly what you are doing, it will provide you with enough power to shoot what you want.
