Which setting for a meteor shower?

I have a Nikon D3100.Is there a good setting I should use?

I don't know what kind of camera it is. Does it have night or fireworks? Otherwise, fast lens for getting individual meteors or leave the lens open for time lapse with streaks.

Try the "Guide Mode".

Hopefully there will be some colorful meteors!
