Which one is technically sound better?

Can anybody tell me… That in between Nikon D5100 & Canon 550D which one is technically sounds better from all sides?

However i own a Nikon D3000 for one year and i can tell you i shoot some amazing pictures with it. Before i buy it i was comparing those 2 brands (Nikon and canon) since they sell the best SLR cameras. I decided to go for a Nikon since the reviews are somehow better than canon reviews. Have no problems with it and find it a perfect guiding camera also since it is my first SLR camera.

Anyway the only difference in those two models is that Canon have 2, 5 mp more than Nikon does but Nikon have a 4fps on continuous shooting picture and Canon have 3.7 fps. Other than that its still pretty much the same. My opinion, if this is your first SLR camera go for a Nikon. But that's just my opinion, right?

They both sell some of the best cameras, so it's really a matter of personal preference. You should compare the individual cameras from both brands based on what you are looking for, one of them may have features that the other one doesn't have, and vice versa. Think about what you are going to use the camera for, and what features will benefit you and which ones aren't important.
