Which of these DSLR cameras would be the best one to buy?

So I'm an amateur photographer and I've decided to buy my first DSLR camera. Since I'm a beginner, I have no idea which one I should get. I've been looking at 4 main ones: Nikon D5000, Nikon D3100, Canon XSi, Canon T1i? Which one do you think would be the best for me?

All great cameras. Go feel them and see how they work for you, fit your hands, what's comfortable. Canon or Nikon you can go wrong. Must say the screen on the D5000 makes me wanna avoid that one. I don't like how it comes out and moves around - I'd prolly break it off.

Nikon d3100. I bought one yesterday. And its awesome!

Actually I own two Canon dslr cameras - the Rebel XS and the eos t1i - both are excellent. The video on the t1i is sharp, crisp and color rich. I always recommend Canon.

I think the Nikin D3000 Unless you need video get the Nikon D3001 But if it doesn't have a video camera it takes higher quality pics so i suggest d3000

Sony A33 or A55.
