I'm looking for a flash for my Nikon D5000 camera and I'm not sure how to tell the difference between the two flash's I have picked out. Can some one tell me please?
Thank you!

The camera brand flashes are always better than the aftermarket flashes.

Metz makes very nice flashes but the 44 is fairly limited. The one I'd consider is the 58. From these two I'd go for a sb-700.

Nikon D3100 is an awesome camera for an entry level DSLR, in my mind Nikon's the best
I've had it for over a whole month now and I've taken over 2000 pictures already, I love this camera, the only thing is that

the 55-200 lens that came with my camera doesn't have VR.
This is a great camera for someone just getting in to DSLR photography, as well as someone who has used manual 35mm film SLRs
It's a big step up from a digital point and shoot for sure, I took close to 500 pictures Christmas night without using the

flash, and only 2 or 3 pictures were slightly burry, only because the subject that was being photographed moved.
