Nikon SLR Cameras

Which Digital SLR Camera is best?

I'm looking to buy my 1st Digital SLR camera, I've used them before but I've decided it's time to buy my own. Which of the following 3, if any, would you recommend? Also, if you can think of any others which would be good for me then I would really appreciate it.

Nikon D40
Olympus E-450
Canon EOS 1000

If you're going to recommend a different camera, it must be around the £300 price mark, I don't care if I have to buy a used one as long as it will be a good camera.

Here's a link to some photos i've taken on my Flickr account if you want to get a jist of what kind of photos I will be taking…

First there aren't any dslr cameras, new that is, for $300. They start at about $500 and go up.
I own the Canon 1000D and it's an excellent camera. It's currently about $480 with an 18-55 lens.

I think you should go for Canon EOS 1000 Camera, it is the best in entry level Cameras.

Nikon D3100 would be a great option.
The D3100 is built around a 14.2 megapixel CMOS sensor, bringing not only live view but also Full HD video capture to Nikon's entry-level model for the first time. In fact, this made it the first Nikon DSLR to offer 1920x1080 movie recording. It can only record clips up to about ten minutes long (due to a 4Gb maximum file size limitation shared by all DSLRs), but this still counts as an impressive feature addition at this level.

Consider also Canon EOS Rebel T3.
Announced in February 2011 along with the more fully featured Rebel T3i, the EOS Rebel T3 slots into the middle of Canon's entry-level DSLR lineup based on MSRP. The T3 features a 12.2 megapixel CMOS sensor and improved DIGIC 4 processor, a nine point auto focus (AF) system with a single center cross-point sensor and a 100-6400 ISO sensitivity range.
