Which camera set should I choose?

Should I buy the nikon d3100 with the kit lens, which is about $650 with the 35mm f/1.8 ($200)? OR should I buy the nikon d3100 body only, with 50mm f/1.8 and 35mm f/1.8? Which would be around $980+. What would be more beneficial and long lasting for me? I'm a beginner, but I consider photography and art one of the passion in my life. So it's not just a one time thing, I'm gonna be using my camera A LOT.

I would advise getting the lens kit because as a beginner your wealth of knowledge will expand. Not only that, you'll have more fun experimenting with all the possibilities.

I suggest getting the 35mm f1.8. Its only 1 step back to get 18mm or one step forward to get 55mm. And the f1.8 really opens up a lot of creative possibilities the kit can't.great lens especially for low light. And you could probably get the 55-200 vr for telephoto. And then maybe in the long run get an ultra wide 10-24, then your definitely covered for all focal lengths. The d3100 is also good camera in low light so if you pair it with the 35mm f1.8 you could probably get low light action shots that not possible with other cameras. And its an AF-S lens meaning it will autofocus on your camera. I don't think the 50mm will autofocus on the d3100 unless its an AF-S lens.
