Some people should not answer if they have no idea.

You can get about 5-6 fisheye lenses for Nikon or Canon cameras from various makers.

They are expensive toys though.

Looks like there's a lovers tiff going on at the moment.

However the question was regarding fisheye lenses.
Both cameras can take what are called fisheye lenses, whether they give a "proper" fisheye effect is not what was being asked.

Also, Nikon do a DX format 180degree fisheye lens.
As do Sigma with their Nikon mount fisheyes.

So the sensor crop is immaterial in that case.
For APS-C sensors as long as the lens is 10.5mm or less then the fisheye effect is there.

There are two types of "fisheye".

Circular which gives a 180 degree view and has a black "crop" around it
and
Full Frame fisheye which is a 180 degree view across the horizontal and takes up the whole of the frame (hence full frame).

There are full frame fisheye lenses for both Nikon and Canon crop sensor cameras, there are no "proper" circular fisheye lenses for either although you can probably get cheap adaptors or clip ons.

This is an example of "full frame" fisheye.
This is an example of "circular" fisheye

Martin is wrong in that sensor crop does not prohibit getting the fisheye effect unless you are ONLY talking about circular.
Photog is wrong in that neither manufacturer has 5 or 6 options for their crop sensor cameras.

Martin, You better tell Sigma, Nikon, Canon etc and many professional photographers that you are right and they are wrong then.
