Where would be the best place to buy a Nikon D3000 dslr camera?
I have been looking for a good deal on one (they are just so expensive… ) Hoping to get one with a decent price, since I'm working with a low budget… Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

It is a very reputable site and usually the cheapest prices you will find from a site that is not a scam. They have great customer service and great return policy. No I do not work there, I have just dealt with them many times. Actually I just bought another camera from them the other day. Another one is www.adorama.com but i personally don't like their site as much. If you want a site that you can be sure the warranty is valid and that is a quality retailer, I recommend either one.
Camera prices don't vary much, right now the D3000 is selling for about 500 dollars, that's how much you should expect to spend.
If you buy online to save on tax stick to reputable dealers: Amazon.com, BHphotovideo.com and Adorama.com
If a place is selling for way more than you've seen at other places or way lower than other places, then don't buy there, it's a scam
It was listed at B&H at $499.95. I'd say that's just right for an entry-level dSLR. If you want lower, get secondhand.
