When I try to review the image on my Nikon D80 the information blocks my view?
I don't quite understand what your talking about. You mean the menu information blocks the view of the photo? You shouldn't be using your camera as a display device anyway - that is very hard on memory cards and often causes them to fail.
Check your owner's manual to see what menu setting you have the view screen set to.
If you depress the UP or DOWN buttons on the mult-selector command dial, it scrolls through the different info screens. If you depress LEFT or RIGHT, it scrolls through the photos.
So just press UP or DOWN until you get back to the screen you wish.

I have the same camera, "AWBoater" gave you the right answer. When you press up and down you can also see your lightning histogram, this one can be very helpful.
Remove the INFO view. It's just a press or two of a button. Read your manual.
