Nikon D80 review screen has an overlay that stays on when reviewing pictures?

When reviewing pictures that I've taken, a screen of specs and other words stays on. I can't see the picture behind it. How can I get that screen to disappear?

I have the D80. I believe you need to delete the photo in question.

You don't need to delete anything. Your manual will tell you what is going on… Or you can just press the "disp" button while in review mode to change the information displayed with the photo.

Press the 4-way control button on the D80 back. Dependent on how you have it set up, either up/down or side/side will move back and forth between the photos you've taken. The other choice will change the review display.

It's very easy to accidentally move that setting, so remember that for future reference.
