What setting should I use on a Nikon d5000 for a makeup photo shoot?

Models will most likely be outside. I want the makeup to be the focus of the shot.

It depends on alot of factors
-are you using flash?
are you using a reflector?
What kind of lens are you using?
But if all else fails- program (the automatic setting)
set your ISO- to 300.
make sure that your shutter speed is above 1/60 of a second
don't let your aperture setting go above 11 or below 2.0
