What Nikon lens to use?

I'm using a Nikon D40x and was wondering which lens would be good to use when going to gigs.
I'm going to the o2 academy at the end of the month so i will use my standard lens and a 70-300mm, but i will be going to the Ricoh Arena Coventry, to see muse in may, and was wondering what lens would be the best to use?

Make sure that Ricoh Arena Coventry allows dSLR cameras into the event if you do no have a venue media pass
When I shoot concerts from the photographers pit, I use a 70-200 mm f/2.8.
Depending upon the quality of the stage lighting, you will be shooting at from 1600 to 3200 ISO to prevent blurring of the musicians hands, feet and head (1/500th second or faster)

You are not going to get into a Muse concert with that.

Highly unlikely to be allowed to take a DSLR into a concert (check ticket). Don't try & smuggle it in - if it gets confiscated I'd be surprised if you get it back in one piece (if at all).
