What Nikon lens set-up?
This is pretty much a follow up from my earlier question:
I'm wondering if I were to get the D90/D7000 whether to go with the kit 18-105mm lens or not?
With my old D40 I have still the original kit 18-55mm (Non-VR), 55-200mm VR and 50mm 1.8.So I'm curious as to whether it'd be worth when getting the D90/D7000 to also get the 18-105mm with it too?
I've heard that the 18-55mm is sharper though but kinda feel like I've outgrown it, but don't know what the next step would be and although I already have the 55-200mm whether the 18-105mm would be a better lens and to sell or give the 18-55mm to a friend? As the 18-105 is VR would this make any considerable difference to make it worth getting? Or should I just save the money and put it towards a different new lens/new flash gun?
Mainly shooting landscape, in-door, portrait and cities really.
I think you should just get the body. The 18-105mm is more of a kit lens, and not many people try looking for that particular lens itself.
