What lens will go better with my camera?
Will the nikkor 50mm 1.4G or 1.4D or 50mm 1.8G or 1.8D

I prefer the f/1.8 because i can't justify the added cost in comparison to the halfstop of light gained. Half stop just doesn't make much of a difference.
The f/1.4 is more comfortable to use and it is built better, but having a cheap lens allows me to be more abusive to it. I can shove my way into tight spaces to get the picture i want.
I think the optical difference is neligable. I can't tell the difference between the two.
The f/1.8 50mm is the deal of the century.
There are some difference in the connections too between G and D lenses. Have a look to the seller information
The G will autofocus, the D will not. With a fast prime autofocus is very nice to have
