What kind of setting should i use for my d60?
I have a nikon d60 and i use the manual setting and from which i adjust the settings from there, but i always find my pictures to be grainy in a way, so i'm asking what's the best setting overral wise for the nikon d60
The "graininess" comes from using a high ISO. To reduce the grain (digital noise) lower the ISO, use a lower shutter speed and a wider aperture. When possible, add more light to the situation by turning on more roomlight, or using the camera's flash.
Once you set your ISO (depending upon the amount of light you are shooting under) and white balance (based upon the light source) all you have to do is use the cameras light meter to determine the proper exposure. Those are the settings. Your composition is up to you
Make sure that your camera is not still set on auto-ISO, which is the default for all but P, A, S, and M. Higher ISO will give that "grainy" look that you are trying to avoid.
