What is the corded clicker that plugs into cameras to take pics?
I have a Nikon d3200 and i'm looking into doing my own diy photo booth for my wedding.
I'm wanting to know if they have an accessary that plugs into the camera that has a clicker to take the picture, that way no body has to actually touch the camera to take the picture.
if you go and get your pics done at a photo place the photographer usually uses one.
does anyone know what accessory i'm talking about, what is it called? And where can I find one to purchase?
Sounds like a remote release. These days you can get wireless ones as well.
One possibility is the model reviewed here. This one is wireless.

The version with the cord is called the MC-DC2, and can be found in many places (this is just one, it's likely that Amazon and of course Nikon themselves will also have it):
- Is it possible to get an extra view screen that plugs into the side of a Nikon D3100?
- What settings work best for digital cameras when you take pics on Self-Timer?
- Should i go downtown on a P. A. Day and take pics with my nikon?
- Remote shooting? Can i take pics without touching my camera?
- What setting/mode on my Nikon D3000 should I use to take pics on halloween?
