What is the cheapest dslr camera?

I would like it too be good quality, but basic is fine. Must have video recording.

The Nikon D3100 is the lowest I can find.

There's no such thing as a cheap DSLR. The Rebel T3 costs about 100 bucks less than the D3100.

If there's a Jessops close by then I would suggest you visit and try out the different cameras suggested and see how they feel in the hand and how easy you find the menus and buttons to use.

I'd suggest Canon EOS Rebel T3 it's a cheapest dslr camera and have HD video recording, ISO 100 - 6400 for shooting from bright to dim light.

A t2i is the cheapest DSLR with video recording capabilities. It sells for $479 refurbished from Canon - http://shop.usa.canon.com/..._267071_-1

Nikons aren't nearly as good for video as Canon.
