720p for video. What else? It basically means the video it records is really good quality.

720p is HD light. There are 720 lines of resolution. "Full" HD is 1080p, so if you have a HD TV, the 720P is about 70% of the best possible resolution on your TV. Up to about 32", you would have a hard time telling the difference.

That means it can take high definition video in 1, 280 x 720 pixels.
