Dpi is a printer resolution. It has nothing to do with a camera.

Are you talking about the DPI number in the EXIF header? If so, 300 dpi. If you don't like this number, you can change it with an EXIF editor with absolutely no effect on the image quality. The dpi number is useful if you do commercial jobs - think desktop publishing, printing brochures, … For us average joes, you can ignore the dpi number.
