What adapter do I need for my Nikon D3000?

I got an Opetka telephoto lens and it said that it was compatible with my Nikon D3000.It came with the T-EOS adapter, and it doesn't fit in my camera. Do I need to T-2 adapter?

They should've provided the correct mount (it's included in the price) take it back and complain.

T2 mounts just screw on, but you'd have to buy and fit it yourself to correct their mistake. You do realise you'll lose autofocus and metering, don't you?

The T-EOS is for Canon - they gave you the wrong one. Send/take it back and ask for a Nikon mount.

Or better yet, return it period. The Opteka lenses are not very good.
