Trouble viewing RAW images in MacBook Pro's Preview?

Just curious if you've maybe experienced this problem. I have a Macbook Pro & I've always used "Preview" to view the raw images from my SanDisk memory card.
When I had my NIkon D90, i was able to preview the pictures (in "Preview) with no problems!
I have now switched to the Nikon D7000, and the only way I can see the RAW images, is if I drag them into Lightroom or Photoshop.
When i try to view them with "Preview", i see nothing but a grey box and the word "exec" in the top left corner.
Any MAC users, if you could help fix this, i would GREATLY appreciate it!

You will need an update from Apple to provide support for this model of camera.
Try updating your mac. If that doesn't work, it'll be a waiting game i'm afraid.
Hope this helps!

According to the Apple link below RAW for the D7000 was added in an August 31 update.
