Thinking of getting a Nikon D3100?

I'm thinking of getting a Nikon D3100 for my photography course but i need to know. Please Help: L I would like to know does it have adjustable aperture, adjustable exposure, adjustable shutter speed and maybe a black and white setting. If it doesent could you please recommend a good camera i could have that does not cost over £600.

The D3100 has full manual control, so you can adjust aperture & exposure yourself. It also has a monchrome mode for black & white, or you can convert color to B&W in post processing. Great camera for the price.

It's a DSLR and they all allow you to adjust those things and plenty more, it has a B&W filter but it's simple to do it with photo editing programs or even on a free website.
