Tamron 55-200mm good? Work on Nikon D3000?

Tamron 55-200mm a good lens? Is it compatiable with the Nikon D3000? Let me know!

NO. This lens sticks and is can be very difficult when trying to focus. For me, I end up applying so much force to twist the stupid focus ring that I end up moving the entire camera. In short, they are bad quality and are not an adequate substitute for actual Nikkor lenses.

Not particularly. The Nikon version would definitely be better. Yes, it will work on your camera if it is made for Nikon. However, I believe it is manual focus only. No motor.
Samuel-if you are applying that much force to turn the focus ring your lens has been dropped and the barrel is distorted. Replace or send to Tamron for repiar.
