Which one has better quality for video and pictures?

The Tamron has the convenience of having all the focal length range of two regular lenses. Of course you pay a price for that in image quality, which should be noticeable on stills at 24 MP.
Since 1920 X 1080 video is about 2 MP, maybe the quality will be good enough for video.
