Take at look at my photography?

I'm a beginner photographer and I absolutely love it!
I was wondering if you could give me some feedback on what you think
on my photos!
I'm a 16 year old junior in high school right now and I've been thinking about
majoring in business and minor in photography and make my own photography business.
The camera I'm using right now is a Nikon D3000.
Thanks, I really appreciate it!

Added (1). I prefer taking photos of landscape and objects rather than people.

They're not terrible, but they're not great either. They're all Way over-processed, though. Keep shooting and practicing…

It's a pity you prefer landscapes over portraiture, because in my humble opinion some of your portraits are your stronger pieces of work. Especially the ones with the horse (although I don't know how unbiased that opinion is because I seriously love horses).

But that said… If you like landscapes & still lives better by all means go for it. I think you have decent quality work overall so far.

Ok, so I think some were kinda generic, some were kinda nice, especially in the use of vibrant colors, and it may be silly, but the peeps made me chuckle! Seriously, though, I have to disagree about the portraits - I think they're ok but weaker than the still lives. For some inexplicable (and nostalgic?) reason, I really liked the b+w 80's digital clock.

Not great. Many have blown highlights or overexposed skies.

Some nice shots here and there, others not so much, but that is really un-important as you are just starting. You definitely show good promise, and that is most important! What I Really Really like is that you say you will major in business and minor in photography. FINALLY someone with some common sense on this forum! The scores of people on here who take mediocre photos, (or even good photos), and think that is all they need to "start a photography business" is absolutely mind numbing. It seems to get through to no one that you can't be successful in ANY business without good business skills, but still they keep coming here in droves asking what to name their photography "business".It is truly absurd. You definitely have the right plan. Get the business knowledge you need and work on the photography secondary. You will then have the groundwork to actually be able to run a successful business, though MARKETING is also a hurdle you need to get under control. Here is a great guy that is a photography business marketing genius:

The best of luck to you!

ADD: LOL… It did not take 30 minutes before another clueless "start my photography business" question popped up. Silly, silly people

I must have overlooked it but there's not a halfway decent landscape anywhere. There's some decent object shots and some cute portraits.

Feedback:
- stop overediting, especially the saturation hurts my eyes
- pay attention to the background, especially when shooting portraits.
- think just a few seconds more about composition, where does the object look best in the frame?
