Should I wait for new replacement?

I'm here to ask some advice. I was planning to buy DSLR camera. So I decided to go for Nikon D7000 and searched through internet about this camera's reviews and assessments. Then I found out there are some rumors about new DSLR which is gonna replace D7000.It will be released as D7100 or something like that. And the question is TIME FRAME FOR RELEASE DATE? When would you expect it to come? And should I wait for it or should I go for 7000. What's your advice?

Based on Nikon's track-record, a D7000 will probably be announced next month or early Septemeber and will be shipping about a month or two later.

It's difficult to say…

You actually might be better off just buying a D3200 and putting the extra money towards a nice lens…

It you want the latest technology from Nikon, there are three cameras that are presently available.

D3200, D800 and D4. Don't look for the D7200 until sometime in the first quarter of 2013

NOTE: There are always rumors of new cameras. If you wait to get the latest camera you will be missing out on learning how to use fully adjustable camera (which can take years).

If your goal is performance/at a good price, buy the D3200 and AF-S lenses

If your goal is to save by buying legacy AF lenses, then buy the D7000
