Problems with my Nikon D3200 Bulb Option/ Battery/ Light Meter?
It is Sunday and Nikon is closed so i hope someone out there can help me.
Last night i was taking pictures outside and used the Bulb option but when i released the shutter, the camera did not stop the picture, i had to turn it off and back on to stop the picture.
The camera says that the battery is the wrong battery
After coming inside last night i tried taking pictures inside but the meter was in the "Too Dark" spot, so my images were all black. I don't understand because i had enough light, i was shooting in manual.
"Bulb" - Are you sure you were not in "Time" mode. The shutter stays open until you press the shutter button a second time.
"Battery" - Do you have a cheap substitute battery in?
"Too Dark" - what metering mode were you using? If you were shooting in manual, what happened when you changed the aperture or shutter speed, or ISO? The meter reflects your settings and the light it sees. I was trying to warn you that the images would be black. You need to make the adjustments to match the meter, not your perception of the light. Consider it a learning opportunity.
