Suggest a suitable lens for Nikon D90?

I have d90 body only… Should i go for a combo of nikkor 55-200 and 18-55 or should buy a single lens nikkor 18-105?
Or if you can suggest any other lens in similar bugdet?

The best budget lenses would be the 18-55 mm and 55-200 mm lenses. If you can stretch your budget, the Nikkor AF-S 18-200 mm is a good single lens solution.
You can later by a macro lens and super wide angle lens like the 10-24 mm

Originally the Nikon D90 kit came with the 18-105mm lens. But any modern Nikon lens will fit.
I used the Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8 for a short period on my D90 before upgrading to the D7100.

I'd go with the combo. I have just that same combo. I've had several photos published using these
two lens.

The newly announced 18-140mm AF-S VR looks interesting. I see it just becoming available (typically for $600), but no hands-on reviews yet. It is intermediate in price and in versatility between the 18-105mm and the 18-200mm. It has a metal mount like the 18-200mm. (The 18-55mm, 18-105mm, and 55-200mm have plastic mounts.) It is reasonable to expect it to have a little bit more consistent sharpness than the 18-200mm, as the 18-105mm seems to. It remains to be seen how quality compares to the 18-105. The longer range makes that more challenging, but maybe newer design could compensate, maybe not.

One normal prime lens for best optical quality but sacrifice on flexibility? 35mm f/1.8.
One standard zoom lens for decent optical quality and some flexibility? 18-55mm.
One super zoom lens for maximum flexibility with low optical quality? 18-275mm, or 18-300mm.
Two short zooms for decent optical quality and maximum flexibility? 18-55mm 70-300mm.
Notes:
105mm would never be enough unless you know exactly what to expect from it.
You won't miss the 55-70mm gap.
