DSLR OR COMPACT DIGITAL?

Please some one help me,
I'm wanting a camera and can't decide between dslr and digital compact.
I have about a £300 budget.
I want something with a good megapixel, decent batter and most importantly a good fps and shutter speed so I can catch moments and fast moving things. My last camera was too slow and the moment was gone by the time the camera shot the photo.
I've been looking at Sony cyber shot compacts, Nikon d3200, canon 1200D.
SOMEONE Please, Help.

Nikon D7000 attachments for telescopes?

I'm looking to buy a gift for someone. He loves astronomy and likes to take photos as a hobby.

I know nothing about the tools available, so I'm hoping someone who knows about this can help. What I'm looking for is a decent telescope for viewing planets with an attachment for a Nikon D7000.
He doesn't always have his camera with him, so I would prefer a telescope that is still useable without the camera. I can buy multiple parts if needed.

My Nikon won't focus through viewfinder but the photos come out fine?

So all of the sudden my Nikon d7000 won't focus well through my viewfinder, but the photos come out in focus when I use auto focus. I can't use manual focus because my camera shows me that the photo isn't in focus no matter how much I focus it manually. Maybe I just need to clean my contacts? I used another Lens and the same problem happened. It was fine the day before

What are my options for buying a new camera for filming?

I'm a entry level guy trying to gain ground in the film industry. About a month ago I bought my first camera the Nikon D3100. Its a good camera but I wish I had done more research before buying. The limits on the camera are a bit discouraging in my opinion. Shooting at a mere 30fps, not external mic input, and the noise it makes when filming because of the Auto-Focus, i'm pretty much preparing myself to get a new camera. But I have to make the most of what i have for right now. I was going to buy a lens for it but now i'm not so sure i should. So what should i do? Should I get a better DSLR camera? Or should i save up for a Professional grade camcorder?

Help choosing a camera?

What's the best camera to get for a girl who has an eye for photography but doesn't know her way around a DSLR super well? I know the basics, but nothing too advanced.

My previous camera was a Nikon D60, but it's outdated kind of falling apart. So I'm looking for something that's going to give me good, high quality pictures while still being affordable. (Preferably a Nikon, under $600-$700)

Added (1). Additional info

Not looking for an entry level camera, I spent 5 years with that Nikon D60. Something a level or two up from that would be great.
