On a Nikon D90, in movie mode, are you able to change the pixel count?

I have it set to the highest quality yet when i'm attempting to edit my video on adobe premier, I open it up in QuickTime player the quality is diminished a little. Any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated.

QuickTime never has good quality. Open the movie anywhere else and the quality is probably back to normal.
