Nikon SLR printer dock?

I have a Nikon D3100 and hate all my photos being just stuck on the computer. I have a printer, but what I'd really like is some sort of Nikon printer dock for my camera - does this exist and if so, how much are they roughly?

First thing this camera is not an SLR - an SLR is a film camera, this one is digital so it's a DSLR.

Second you need to print from your computer. If you have a printer then print with your computer's software.

Why is it you do not use your computer and print images from it? You will have much more control of the end print, using the controls on your computer and photo program

The is a way you can connect your camera directly to your computer Look on page 117 - 122 of your user manual.

Too much to handle? With SLR cameras (digital included), photographers normally want to have as much control as possible from the process of taking the picture to the manner of printing. If you pester Nikon enough though, you may get what you want in the future.

There's no docking connector on cameras such as you Nikon D3100, that is something that allows you to just plonk the camera into to and the camera will then print.

You can get photo printers that connect via the camera's USB port though, and those I would have thought will support at least one of the photo printing conventions in your camera. Any good "general" photography store will probably carry a couple and they'll start at around $100, though you will pay more for specialist media.

Take a look at the manuals for your printer to see if it is PictBridge compatible. If so you should be able to connect to it via USB cable and print direct.
