Nikon D70s for $250 worth it? (6mp)?

I'm considering getting an dslr camera, and found this one selling for $250, is it worth it or should I spent a 100 bucks more for something better.

Sure, they are still a viable camera.

If you can find a D40, it has the ability to shoot with flash sync at much higher shutter speeds -- one of only two the other being the original Canon 1D.

Between the two, D70 and D40x, pick the one in the best condition.

If you are concerned about quality, here are two shots taken using a much older D100 which has a 6 mp sensor.

6MP for $250 is exactly on the dot. At this level, camera condition matters more than model number. Check which one is in better condition. You have to see and handle the camera yourself. The newer one with lesser shutter activation count would be the better buy.
