Nikon D60, keep or sell?

I've always been interested in photography and art but I don't know much about it and have no friends who are into it. I bought a D60 a few years ago to start getting into it but the camera is too advanced for my skills. I've read numerous manuals and tutorials but still have only the slightest idea how to use it properly.

There are a couple of photography classes in the area but I work 9-5 every day plus I have night school. I just don't have the time to spend on learning the skills needed to use the camera to its full potential.

Should I keep it and basically use it as a point-and-shoot or should I sell it? Do you think it's even worth anything? I find that my camera phone or my other small digital camera to be sufficient for my uses.

You own it free and clear, keep the money in the bank you would spend and use it as a point and shoot. As you shoot you will find you start to learn more even if over a number of years.

Keep it and set it to "Auto". Then take your time and learn a little bit more about how to work every day. I didn't start out being a decent photographer - I had to learn it just like everybody else. The more you do it the more you should improve. The more you learn the more you can do so just keep at it.

Keep it. You wouldn't be able to get enough for it to offset its value to you even if you just use it in Automatic.

Either you have an interest in photography, or you don't. It doesn't appear you do since this camera has long been discontinued
Yes, it is worth a few hundred if it's in nice condition. If you have no use for it, sell it to someone that does. It's a waste to use it as a point & shoot. Look at what it's going for on ebay, and take it from there.
