Nikon D60 battery doesn't charge anymore?
My battery doesn't charge anymore. The charger light blinks as usual but it never stops blinking (charged mode) and even after 8 hours the battery is not charged. I checked and cleaned the terminals with no effect. Is the problem with the battery or the charger? I need to understand it before replacing one of the two if necessary. BTW the batter was running strong until yesterday and I had the camera bought in 2009.
Buy a new battery. They don't last forever, you know
You might need a new one.
2009? And you're asking why the battery won't work any longer. Come on… Car batteries only run a couple of years so why would you expect a camera battery to be any different.
Just buy a couple of new ones.
It is probably the battery rather than the charger. Do yourself a favor and only buy a genuine replacement as the 3rd party batteries may be more trouble than worth.
Batteries wear out…
- When I test my battery with multimeter and it doesn't show voltage, is battery dead?
- My nikon d40x doesn't take pictures in lcd anymore?
- My Nikon D5000 doesn't work with cable release or infrared release anymore?
- Why my Nikon doesn't auto focus anymore?
- Why doesn't the time and date appear on my photos anymore?
