Nikon D40 camera problem

My camera has not been turning on for the last couple of days. This is happening even after I've charged the battery throughout the night. It's been working find & out of nowhere it's stopped. What should I do/try to make it turn on?

Try a different battery. It may be just that your old battery is bad. Otherwise you need to take it to Nikon service.
