Nikon D3100 Has no USB Cable on it?
So how do you upload hour pictures form your Nikon D3100 ( if you have one) Into your computer? Do you use Card Reader? Any Card reader would do?
Use a card reader. But are you sure there isn't some kind of cord that came with that camera to upload photos to computer? It's not going to be a standard size USB port. Note: I just checked the specs on that camera and it does indeed have a USB.
In case you hadn't looked it's probably in a small bag along with some other accessories.
Most of us regulars here use and recommend readers instead of the cable system. I've been using the for years, my cables are stored and I've never installed the maker's software - don't need it.
Its almost always better to use a card reader, and they can be picked up for less then $5 at any electronics store.
but if you still really need/want that cable, look at what is supposed to be supplied, and if it is supposed to be supplied, call Nikon and have them send you one
If your computer already has a card reader built in (most modern computers do), then you don't need a card reader. If not, they're cheap and can be easily picked up for only a few bucks at any electronics store. Just make sure you find a card reader that's compatible with SD/SDHC cards.
