Can I use a USB/Micro USB adapter to connect a Nikon D3300 USB UC-E6 cable to transfer photos to my android? - 1
Hi yes it should be possible.
Here's the thing. Normally (by default), when you connect a digital camera to a computer via USB, the camera becomes merely a glorified card reader so theoretically, it should work. The problem however is the fact that some digital cameras will insist it is a camera so when the other device starts asking the connection will fail but if the camera is humble enough to present itself as a card reader then the other device will recognize it as one and allow the connection to push through. In the end it will be hard to tell which camera works with what Android device since there are lots of models to contend with on both sides. What I can say is try anyway. If it works, great! If not, then you can always get a cheap USB card reader and use that to connect your camera's memory card to the Android gadget's USB slot. You'll probably need that special USB adapter or dongle to do it.
Your camera produces image files of 12 mb.
How many of those photos can you place on your mobile before you start running out of space?
Thinking you can just use lower resolution settings on the camera is a false economy. What happens if you later find that one of your brilliant photos would look just amazing printed 8 x 12 inches or maybe larger?
You can NEVER make a photo image file larger. That is why most of us shoot in RAW to get the most our of our cameras. Later after processing, we can make low-resolution JPEG if needed, like 600 x 400 pixels at 72 ppi (they are less than 200 kb), so a mobile can hold many of those image files.
You may want to rethink this idea of copying image files from your camera to your mobile without first processing them with Adobe Lightroom CC.
The newest Nikon digital SLR camera's, the Nikon D3400, D5600, D7200 and D500 all have built-in Bluetooth as well as NFC connectivity.
Sometimes new technology shows up after we spend money on recently current devices
Yes, that should work.
You need an OTG adapter. The camera plugs into the adapter.
Better to use a card reader instead of the camera. Less cumbersome.
