Nikon D3000 Hipster photography?

So, i've been into photography for a while now and i've realized i really like "Hipster" photography, the effects look really cool. To describe what hipster photography is, it's where the picture almost looks like it was taken in the 70's. It looks vintage. It looks grainy and somewhat unclear, but it still looks nice. Is there a way i could set up my camera to take pictures like that? Or do i need a program? Also, what other cameras can i buy that take pictures like that. All answers help.

Lol is that a kind of jeans
I think what you mean is film photography or in your terms old school.
just find an old camera and some film, or download instagram on you iPhone

The hipster shots are taken on cheap plastic film cameras. But you're in luck, digital camera manufacturers have recently added so called "lomo" (for lomography) effect options to their newest point-and-shoot cameras. They degrade the otherwise excellent digital image so that it looks like it was taken on a toy camera with lousy optics, poor exposure control, and light leaks. Just what you're looking for. Just go into a store and ask to see the cameras that have the lomo option.

The D3000 doesn't. You'd need to apply the effect on your computer. A simple tool like picasa should already be enough.
