Nikon 70-200mm VR II?

So I'm planning to get the Nikon 70-200mm VR II, but was wondering is it compatible with my Nikon D90 since it's a DX body? Or can is it only for FX bodies?

It will work just fine on a D90.

It's compatible - any AF-S lens is compatible with any Nikon D-SLR. And the optics are fantastic, it is easily one of my all time favorites. Hope this helps!
