Nikkor-HC 50mm f/2 Lens?

I have one question, does Nikkor-HC 50mm f/2 Lens will mount on my Nikon D5000? Thank you!

That seems to be a pre-Ai lens. While it may physically mount on the camera, it won't meter nor autofocus. Save yourself the money.

Decent lens, bad idea for the D5000 though. This designation is pre-AI, this means it won't physically fit onto the AF mount. Some pre-AI lenses were modified to the AI standard, and would therefore fit, however these lenses are manual focus only lenses. Also because pre AI, and AI lenses don't have CPUs (and therefore can't talk to the camera), you have no metering, and you will have to shoot manual and meter by histogram.

If you want to use older Nikon (AI type) lenses, either get a D200, D300/s, D700, D2 or D3, or a Canon EOS, or Olympus Four Thirds.
