New Nikon D3100, Blurry pics
I just purchased a Nikon D3100 camera and being a newbie with dslr I'm totally lost. When I tried taking a picture (on auto) it was blurry. Then I tried all other settings and the same thing happened. Anybody know why, what can I do to fix it or if I'm the problem?
Ask yourself whether the camera is on Macro Mode, and check whether you have zoomed out all the way on the lens or try this guide, it helped me, failing that you could always reset all the settings or go to Jessops or some shop that could help you.

Blur = using too slow a shutter speed to hand hold the camera. The results are that the camera and or subject moves during the exposure.
Learn to balance the ISO, shutter speed and lens aperture in order to get crisp shots when hand holding the camera and make sure you follow the guidelines on page 25 of your user manual on holding the camera. Attempting to use the live view feature, holding the camera at arm's length will add blur at even high shutter speeds.
