New camera for a beginning photographer?
HEY… OK… So I've been in photography since ninth grade (12th grade now) and while I'm no where near professional, i do want a nicer camera than what i have now (just a basic point and shoot Kodak). I'm looking at the Nikon D90 right now and basically i have two questions:
1. Should i just buy a body only camera and buy the lenses i want separately or just buy it all in one package? And…
2. How does the financing work (if it's available)? How much do you have to put down and what are the payments like.right now i have about 400-500 saved for it.
Well it depends on the kit it comes with. Most of them come with body + 18-55mm, and some even add the 55-200mm.
You can save some money when buying a kit deal.
Unless you don't want the 18-105 mm lens and want another lens, then buying a different lens is always an option.
D90 is a nice camera, you can buy it with the kit lens to practice. And then when you know all about the camera and want to explore more about photography by lens then buy another. If you have the kit lens 18mm-55mm, you can buy 70mm-300mm for zoom lens.
