My nikon d90 is underexposing all my shots.and really acting up all around?
In M mode my camera at 2 hundredths of a second and on f11 it is completely underexposed, black to be exact. My camera has to be open for like 5 seconds to capture an image that normally i can take at thousands of a sec. ISO is at 200. I can't figure it out
And you can't understand why this is happening?
Have you tried using the cameras light meter?
At present you are grossly under exposing your images.
You failed to mention under what lighting conditions you are trying to shoot
You seem to have reached the point where a semester in photography will teach you what you need to know to figure out basic exposure and other important factors necessary to produce excellent images each time you press the shutter release.
Look on pages 80a and 81 of your user manual
