My nikon d3100 is saying my SD card is full but the card has nothing on it?

How do i fix this? It's saying that my card is full but there's nothing on the memory card
i've also tried 3 different memory cards so i know its not the memory cards

Format the memory card
look in your camera manual to see how to do it

When was the last time that you actually had Formatted the Memory Card? This should actually be after downloading All of the Photos onto the Computer at the End of Each Day.
Just Deleting the Photos causes so much problems with the Memory Card because of Deleting the Photo Doesn't Completely Erase the Photo entirely.

There's goes the Nikon! D3100 is the latest model isn't it, you may be able to return it and get Canon instead.
