Lumix or Nikon or Canon?

Just wondering which camera will be the best?
Panasonic Lumix GF-2 or Nikon DSLR D3100 or Canon eos 1100D?

Please reply.

I have an older Canon Rebel XTI and love it. Nikon's are great cameras, too.

I would go for Cannon EOS 1100D, have one myself and absolutely love it. I was going to go for Nikon originally but so happy I didn't!

Either of the 2 DSLRs will give excelent results and offer flexibility as you develop your photo skills.
The Lumix is a compact - it will also take excellent photos but will be less flexible for the future.

One major thing to bear in mind is the size of the cameras - DSLRs are big bulky beasts and if you start adding lenses to your kit then carrying it around can become a chore!
The Panasonic will fit in your pocket/bag - much handier for taking snaps.

I would recommend to buy a Canon EOS Rebel T2i, this is a nice camera, good battery, a lots of great features, it shoots nice photos and good quality videos.

I think the nikon D3100 is one of the better suited cameras especially for newbies.
