Lens for Nikon D3000? - 2

I'm looking for a really good lens that is best for portraits and close up portraits. Also one thats good for family portraits for inside and outside. Thanks!
Added (1). Price doesn't matter! Sorry should have put that in there. Autofocus doesn't matter eaither.

What's wrong with the 18-105? What is your budget? How important is autofocus for you?

The medium telephoto AF-S 50 mm f/1.4 would be the perfect lens for shooting head and shoulder portraits.

If you do not mind manually focusing your shots, the AF 50 mm f/1.8 is a fine lens

I had heard more about Nikon AF-S DX VR 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G IF-ED Lens which is better for nikon D3000. Which is really good one.
*VR II Vibration Reduction technology provides a four-steps-faster shutter speed
*High-ratio, 11x zoom lens and 18-200mm focal range
*AF-S Silent Wave Motor provides fast quiet autofocusing, and M/A mode makes it easy to switch from auto to manual focus
*Delivers high-resolution and contrast, outstanding image quality, and fantastic photographic versatility
*Lens incorporates two ED glass and three aspheric lens elements
